Other Notable Responsibilities
1. Prepared for 'External Evaluation and Review (EER)' by NZQA as an active member of Department of Engineering, International College of Auckland. EER was held on 17th, 18th and 19th May 2017. The following tasks were accomplished during the preparation.
  • Prepared the Engineering department portfolio which contained the sample documentation maintained by all the staff in the Engineering department including the Head. It includes, but not limited to, business plan, academic reports, lesson plan, academic calendar, academic timetable, staff records, student certificates and records, student progression file, student destination data, industry engagement, etc.
  • Prepared the Student Management file which contained student warning letters, student resit information, student leave application and student component borrow form.
  • Prepared the Attendance Management file with Attendance analysis for all the courses in every intake.
  • Prepared the Engineering department Infographics to showcase our department to the NZQA inspectors
  • Arranged the Electronics Laboratories and the student projects to showcase the study and learning environment to the inspectors
  • Prepared the ICA Electrical Society files showcasing the achievements of students and the society.

2. Prepared for 'NZQA Monitoring Visit' by NZQA as an active member of Department of Engineering, International College of Auckland. It was held on 12th September 2016. The following tasks were accomplished during the preparation.

Latha is currently working as a Research Assistant at The University of Auckland. The topic of research is on Agile software development. During this period, she has published an article in Journal of Systems and Software, which is one of the premier journals in Software Engineering field. Latha has signed to work on a project titled "Developing in Digital Worlds" with Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) in April 2016.
